Introduction
Welcome to this stage of the Journey. What follows describes what has long been known as the Second Initiation, a well-documented stage along the traditional Spiritual Path. In the past, this step was usually reached through direct initiation from an Enlightened Teacher, yet today many people are Awakening naturally and spontaneously. They may begin to perceive some of the same Landmarks, Insights, and Realizations that were once thought to arise only through formal Initiation. Whether your progress has unfolded through guidance or through your own inner Awakening, this site offers understanding and reassurance. The Experiences described here may help you recognise and deepen what is already taking place within you, as you continue along the Path toward greater Spiritual Awareness.
Global Initiations
For those who feel ready to receive the Transference of Spiritual Energy and take part in the Global Initiations, these are held on the first day of each month at 09:00 and 21:00 UTC. You are warmly invited to sit in stillness during either, or both, of these times. Please check the Transmission times carefully, especially if your region observes Daylight or Summer Time.

Global Initiations
Tradition
Traditionally, the Path of Light and Sound consisted of three Initiations: First, Second, and Enlightenment. Energy was given to the Meditator at each stage by the Master or one of his/her Adepts (Enlightened Teachers).
In the beginning, this Path followed the same approach. However, This is Us could see that logistically it was difficult to keep sending our Teachers back to the same country. As a result, They devised a much simpler system that required just one “Touch”, enabling Meditators to progress to Enlightenment without the need for further Transferences of Energy.
The Second Initiates website has, however, been preserved for those interested in learning about this intermediate stage. Meditators will still experience some of the Landmarks, but the most important thing is the realisation that they exist beyond their mind.
From where we sit, because of human frailties, it has become necessary to bring down huge amounts of Energy to address the imbalances of your planet. There are many of you already helping in this task. What we are asking is for people to look to their hearts and bring about massive changes by addressing three major issues:

Grace Periods
When this Path began in 2015, This is Us chose special times throughout the year to increase the intensity of the Lightwave Energy. This allowed Meditators the opportunity to progress more easily and attain high states of Consciousness.
These days, however, the level of Energy is so high that we are effectively experiencing a constant Grace period.
This has been clearly demonstrated by the way Meditators are moving swiftly along the Path, and by people all around the world spontaneously hearing the Sound Current and seeing Divine Light!
This, we are told, is completely unprecedented. We are witnessing the beginning of an amazing Spiritual Age.
The Truth About Enlightenment
Often referred to as a permanent state of being.
This is Us
The permanent state of which you speak cannot be permanent, within a physical body. You can have realisations with states of consciousness, but that is what they are—not states of being.
For example, you can witness the state of “non-thinking” in deep meditation, but you are the witness, not the state.
On Enlightenment, you go to that “permanent state” for a while, you feel different, and life should change for you—but you come back to live your life, albeit from a different perspective. I repeat, you DO come back. You have to, or you could not function as a human being.
When an Enlightened person dies, they shed first their physical shell, ascend to the higher dimensions, and enter into a “big sleep”, continuing to shed further bodies that were used while in human form on Earth. Then a shift occurs, and “they” are no longer the “individual” but still conscious—a Being of Light.
The Being of Light then joins with their Essence, which permanently resides in the Spiritual Worlds.
Following this, there are three possibilities:
- Merging into the Oneness… forever.
- Staying in the Spiritual Worlds, serving and continuing to learn.
- Returning to the physical dimensions by taking another set of vehicles to further pursue life’s lessons.

Some spiritual teachers claim that Enlightenment is a permanent state acquired by the meditator and, once achieved, separation is impossible. We have been told that this is not true: we can experience the state and then must inevitably return to the mind and the senses. A good meditator could, of course, revisit the state time after time.
An expression found in many religions and philosophies is the Soul—the permanent part of the self that endures physical death. This is referred to by Them as the Being of Light. It rejoins with its Essence, which suggests that the Soul is part of the true Self. This Essence remains in the Spiritual dimensions, while the Soul takes on a series of shells to enable physical existence.
What about people who have not become Enlightened during their lifetime? On physical death, they will also become a Being of Light, remaining in the Spiritual realms for a period of time until the Soul is compelled to take on another physical body.
The whole process seems to depend on learning—not just academic, but life’s lessons, particularly those involving relationships. The further a person has travelled along the Spiritual Path, the longer they are likely to remain in the Heavenly Worlds, where again learning takes place.
Enlightenment is a massive, profound topic, and we realise that this is only a brief summary of the subject.
