The Planes of Consciousness exist so that Man can get some idea of the workings of the Cosmos; in no way will he fully understand. So many people have tried, but because Man’s consciousness is yet so limited, then it is not possible to teach him the way things are. All we can do is to give an elementary way of seeing things, which will satisfy most people.

If all that the Adepts did was to Meditate full time in an ashram, they might come close but REALLY that is not necessary at this time. There are far more important things to do.

The Dimensions interpenetrate each other and Man is moving slowing through them. But at any time, through Spiritual advancement on Earth, individuals are able to “escape” their continual lives on Earth to reign in Spirit.

Every organism, from elemental to more complex, has a set consciousness; they can only go so far. Humans, who are a 3rd Dimension species, however, are different. They can go further, and by a “Divine Spark” they can go much further.

As the Dimensions interpenetrate each other then Humankind has the ability to “Ascend” through all the Dimensions to God Consciousness in a lifetime. How much that individual can integrate his Consciousness into these Dimensions is a measure of his ability and desire to do so.

To understand the bodies of Man – these are an individual’s aura: this is the mechanism by which Man tries to understand the Universe, rather like the organs of the body do their jobs. So, you have the physical, emotional, mental, higher mental etc. that you know already.

In each Dimension are the Planes of Consciousness. An individual is able to access the Planes of Consciousness within that Dimension.

The 3 Dimensions that we live in are usually thought of as forwards/backwards, left/right and up/down. Science often employs the notion that there could be further Dimensions as a mathematical “fudge” to enable complex equations to work. However, more recently they have suggested that there REALLY might exist a set of Dimensions beyond the physical Universe. The problem is, all scientific measuring equipment is locked into the 3 lower Dimensions and cannot be projected into the higher ones.

Esoteric teaching looks at the Dimensions in a completely different way. It views each Dimension as an Energetic frequency much like the regions of electromagnetic radiation (radio waves, microwaves, light etc). The lowest frequencies correspond to the 3 Dimensions we are familiar with.

The higher Dimensions exhibit higher frequencies and interpenetrate the lower sets. These lower sets are encapsulated within the higher Dimensions but not the other way round.

Imagine tiny Beings living on a set of bookshelves; each shelf is populated by a particular species. They would, in this analogy, only be able to move around in 2 dimensions, along the surface of their particular shelf. They would have no knowledge or concept of the shelves above and below. However, if one day a 3-D Being like ourselves visited the bookshelves we would be able to see the whole picture and visit, at will, all the individual shelves and the species that live there.

Our World of 3-D would contain all their 2-D Worlds and would interpenetrate them. It would be difficult for the 2-D Beings to have any concept of what a 3-D World was like and how to travel into the 3rd Dimension. They would have to find a direction at right angles to the shelves and move either up or down; they wouldn’t even have such words in their vocabulary!

We are told by the Hierarchy that there are a total of 9 Dimensions and that Man, at present, is generally only aware of the bottom 3. As Mankind evolves then we will gradually become Conscious of the higher Dimensions.

However, each Dimension contains Planes of Consciousness which allows a few inquisitive 3-D Beings like ourselves to travel into the higher Realms, not physically but through Meditation on Divine Light and Sound. We travel with our Consciousness by moving through the Planes that populate each Dimension. As we Journey (along the Path) the Energies increase in frequency until we reach the Highest Dimension of all. This contains and interpenetrates all the lower Dimensions and their Planes of Consciousness. The highest frequency is Infinite and is the Source of all Light and Sound and is therefore simply the Energy of Darkness and Silence….God.

Contrary to common sense this Energy is FULL of NOTHING as you will discover when you attain Enlightenment.

The Hierarchy have kindly transmitted information about the intelligences that populate each of the Dimensions mentioned above:

Dimensions are bands of different frequencies in which are contained the various Planes.

Planes are vast levels of consciousness and Spiritual Light and Sound.

THE DIMENSIONS
In order to understand more easily you can group the first three Dimensions together, as you inhabit the 3rd Dimension, and the higher Dimensions interpenetrate the lower Dimensions.

1st This is the home of the flora, fauna, Earth and oceans.

2nd The domain of the Elementals, or spirits, that guard and look after the 1st dimension. Young children are more open to and sensitive of the vibrational energies of the Elementals until the age of about seven years. Because they are often told not to be silly if they mention being aware of them, they lose the ability to do so as they mature.

3rd This is where humans live their lives. Negativity originates from the thoughts and ideas of human beings in this dimension. We, the Spiritual Hierarchy, ask that you channel love daily to eliminate negativity on Earth.

4th The ASTRAL Planes, where emotions are experienced – both positive and negative. Here you feel happiness, joy, sadness, guilt and anger. Religious people spend much time in this Dimension.
There is currently a lot of talk of Cosmic Ordering – when you ask for something and hope that the Universe will provide it, eg., a new job or relationship, a vacation, etc. Asking is only one step to receiving; there needs to be intense emotional input for it to succeed. All this takes place in the 4th Dimension.

5th The MENTAL Planes where thought and intelligence take place. More time spent in this Dimension results in greater intelligence. Requests for your own and other people’s well-being are heard here by the Light Beings of the Spiritual Hierarchy, and preparations to deliver these are made from this Dimension. ANGELIC beings reside here.

6th This is the INTUITIVE Principle. Here, the Spirit guides make decisions about what material requests can be granted. The Ascended Masters decide if you are to be healed or not. (There may be karmic reasons why you cannot be healed until you have paid your debts.) From these Planes the Light Beings and Angels present to the Lords of Light, who are Ascended Masters, your deep desire for spiritual growth, including initiation into Light and Sound and Enlightenment.

7th This is a series of vast SPIRITUAL LIGHT PLANES, the home of the ASCENDED MASTERS, SPIRITUAL GUIDES and LIGHT BEINGS. DIVINE INTELLIGENCE resides here.

8th These are the HIGHER SPIRITUAL PLANES of undifferentiated Spiritual Energy. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

9th GOD. UNITY. ETERNITY.
