General Guidance for Mentoring

This is a role that you may wish to volunteer for, that you would find both rewarding and educational. It is a wonderful way of demonstrating the “Pay it Forward” principle.

As a Second Initiate you are eligible to Mentor all Aspirants on breath and mantras, as well as helping to prepare them for Initiation, in conjunction with the Initiating Adept. Further, you have the experience to assist First Initiates move through their Path towards Second Initiation.

You will be given the Mantras and receive training so that you can select appropriately from the list and give advice regarding their use. Please ask your Mentor Adept (The Mantras appear on the Second Initiates website).

You will also be given guidance to prepare people for First and Second Initiation. Again, ask your Mentor Adept.

Never worry as you will always be able to ask for help from your personal Mentor Adept and the Initiating Adept.

With the new technological age it may be that you mentor someone in a different country. You will therefore be guiding them through a combination of emails, phone calls and even skype. Where possible, however, we will assign people to local mentors so that you can also meet face to face.

If for some reason you don’t feel your relationship, with the person you are guiding is working out, you can always request that they are mentored by someone else.

Remember a whole team of willing helpers sit behind you and behind them the Spiritual Hierarchy.
